We’ve just had our holiday break for Christmas and New Years and my beautiful wife gave me a copy of 24 season 2, admittedly with the hidden agenda of getting me hooked on the show. To that point I hadn’t actually experienced 24 because I find it impossible to get into shows on TV – I haven’t yet got a TIVO and there’s low odds I’ll ever be home at the same time for 24 weeks in a row.

So in between family visits and house-sitting duties we spent just about every spare minute watching 24 and get addicted I did! Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) and his colleagues from the Counter Terrorist Unit (CTU) have one hell of a work day as they fight against all odds to save Los Angeles from nuclear attack. Meanwhile on the couch I had to make sure my heart didn’t start racing so fast I had a heart attack – I’d recommend taking more than one week to work through the series.

Everything that makes Scenes that Rock! is highly recommended and this is no exception. Next in line is the original season of 24 and hopefully some time to work through the following seasons.
